Warhammer Online Guide - Warhammer Online Crafting Tips From The Goblin Guide

The Warhammer Online Crafting system is very unique as compared to other MMOs game. The system requires plenty of guesswork and luck for the player, nevertheless in doing so, you have a chance to be rewarded with rare options and outcomes in the game.

When you are crafting, you will be putting ingredients into a "pot" and then combine them in the hope to make a option that you can use in the game.

Warhammer Online went ahead in the game design with a different approach; instead of having set recipes, they went with an ingredient-based system. Therefore you will not know exactly what you are making until you try it out yourself. The purpose is to encourage you, the player, to try out new things and make your own recipes in the hope of coming out with something useful for yourself.

The overall Warhammer Crafting system is all about experimenting trying new things and seeing what you can get out of it. When you experiment and make something useful that you like or you think others may like, you should write down the combination that you used so that you can remember how to make it again in the game if you need to.

In Warhammer Online Crafting, you can be trained for crafting and gathering skills in any Chapter 2 quest town, or in your realms main city.

For your information, there are two crafting skills (craft skills) that are currently available in the game... They are: Apothecary and Talisman Crafting.

Note that you do not need to be at a specific area to craft. As long as you have all the parts needed with you, apothecary can be done anywhere.

There are also four gathering skills in Warhammer Online which are:
1. Butchering
2. Scavenging
3. Cultivating
4. Magical Salvaging

Please be aware that you can only choose one crafting and one gathering skill. This means that in order to make items that are more powerful, it will be necessary for you to work with other players so that all the needed ingredients can be acquired to do so.

We will discuss about one of the Warhammer Online crafting skill in this article today, the Talisman Crafting. The other skills are discussed in depth inside our Warhammer Crafting Guide which forms part of the Goblin Guide suite.

Talisman Crafting is used to make talismans which can be added to your armor and weapons that provide additional stats, such as the gems in World of Warcraft. With Talisman making, you will need a container just like in Apothecary and also 4 ingredients which you will combine in the container for the outcome.

Here are the ingredients:
A Fragment - these are obtained from salvaging a corpse.
A Curio - This can be purchased from the trainers, also gathered from Scavenging.
A Metal Essence - this may be purchased from the Trainer
A Magic Essence - this may be purchased from trainer also from Salvaging harvest skill.

Once you have added all the items into the Talisman Maker, you will see at the bottom in blue the strength of the talisman.

Remember that Talisman requires a lot of experimenting and using different ingredients to obtain different results. So please be patient and more adventurous.

The Warhammer Online Crafting guide in the Goblin Guide package will be updated with the necessary recipes as they become available.
